He joined the Construction industry after reading for the then Diploma in Construction Engineering & Architecture. He graduated from the NMMU-Port Elizabeth with a BSc in Construction Studies and further enrolled for a postgraduate BSc Hons in Construction Management at the same university. He later joined the Charted Institute of Building (CIOB), the Project Management South Africa (PMSA). He was involved in the NMC Truworths Warehouse project in Cape Town, the Construction of the SMD Diamond mine plant construction to name but a few. As a founder of MCX, he has brought with him Project management, Building Design & Detailing, Health & Safety, Cost control and Quantification skills.
